Return and Refund Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the unused product for a full refund or an even exchange. 

You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date of purchase. Please note,  all items must be unused and in the original packaging.  

Please email us at info@hairology.ca to receive a RMA (return merchandise authorization) number.  Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization. 

Please allow up to 1 week for your return to be processed once it has been received at our warehouse. Once your return is received, inspected and approved, our customer service department will provide confirmation of your refund. 

*Note: Returned products will be inspected by our returns department and if items are deemed altered, damaged or tampered with a processing fee will be tacked on.  This is to ensure the integrity of our company and the products that we carry.

 

Return Shipping

In the event of a packing error by our team, Hairology Beauty Studio will cover any return shipping cost. 

Any other returns, please feel free to reach out to info@hairology.ca to speak to a representative in regards to your return shipping options. 

Hairology Beauty Studio will be happy to pass along our shipping rates to our customers in regards to returns. Shipping rates would then be deducted from total refunded amount. 

**Please note, shipping charges on original order are non-refundable**

 

If you are using a freight forwarder, please have the items inspected before shipping out of the country. Hairology Beauty Studio is NOT responsible for any items re-shipped outside of the US.

 

Shipping Insurance

Shipping Insurance is automatically added to cart for your convenience. By removing the insurance, Hairology Beauty Studio is not to be held responsible for damaged, lost or stolen packages.

 

Final Sale Products

For sanitary reasons, we are unable to accept returns for the following products:

  • Jewelry
  • Nails: Nail Polish, Tweezers, Nippers, Clippers, and all other implements
  • Hair: Brushes, Razors, Shears, and Hair Color / Accessories
  • Skin: Makeup, Make-up Brushes, Eyelashes, Beauty Implements, and Hair Removal Accessories

*Tip: Please be extra careful when selecting makeup, and hair dye colors.

 

 

Electrical Appliance Returns 

No return will be accepted without a return authorization number.  Please contact us at info@hairology.ca to receive proper authorization.

Hairology Beauty Studio does not provide refunds on used electrical appliances. New and unopened electrical appliances such as (Blow Dryers, Flat Irons, Curling Irons, Nail Machines, Electric Mirrors, etc.) can be exchanged for replacement or other merchandise within 30 days of purchase. 

Please note, appliances are eligible for store credit in the form of a gift certificate, or exchange only within 30 days of purchase.

 

We guarantee all appliances for 30 days from the date of delivery.  If your appliance becomes defective within 30 days of purchase, we will replace the appliance at no cost. After 30 days, all appliances are covered under the manufacturer's warranty.  Please contact us at info@hairology.ca or call us at to discuss your options as each manufacturer has different policies.

Authentic Products

Hairology Beauty Studio cultivates relationships with our brands and vendors, therefore we stand behind our products and assure you that they are all 100% authentic. 

 

Product Pictures

Our merchandising team strives to update pictures with the most current packaging from our brands. If you happen to receive a product that looks slightly different than our website pictures,  please note we are in the process of updating our images to the new packaging for said item. 

 

Size / Quantity  

Sometimes due to shipping cost, Hairology Beauty Studio may ship two smaller packages totaling in equal or greater quantity.  Our shipping department may also ship a larger size with more quantity as a bonus to our customers. 

 

Shipping / Handling Time 

Some products may be shipped from different salon / warehouse locations resulting in longer handling / shipping times.  Please note that shipping times begin upon fulfillment not from when an order is placed. 

**Multiple item orders may also ship in multiple shipments.   

 

Fraud Policy

To prevent fraud, frequent return requests are subject to review by Hairology Beauty Studio. We reserve the right to deny purchases or refunds for any suspicious activity.

RETURNS 

Hairology Beauty Studio Return Policy 

Hairology Beauty Studio is dedicated to bringing you an unparalleled shopping experience from start to finish. If you are not completely satisfied with a product for any reason, just send it to the Hairology Beauty Studio Returns Center for a refund. You may also return it to your local Hairology Beauty Studio store for a refund, exchange or in-store credit. 

Products must be returned within 60 days of the Process Date on the order packing slip to receive a refund to the payment method used on Hairology Beauty Studio. An Hairology Beauty Studio Gift Card or eGift Card will be issued for returns of products after 60 days of the Process Date on the order packing slip when returned to the processing center. 

Products returned to stores that were purchased using an online payment service (i.e., PayPal, PayPal Credit) will be refunded to your preferred credit card or issued as a store merchandise credit. 

The original email order confirmation, packing slip and all original packaging materials must be included with your return. 

Original shipping charges are refunded only if the product is defective or mis-shipped by Hairology Beauty Studio. 

Online purchases returned to an Hairology Beauty Studio store without the original email receipt, applicable free gifts and pack slip are only eligible for exchanges. 

Products ordered online can be exchanged in your local store.Customers are responsible for paying any additional difference in price and sales tax for exchanges of greater value. A store credit will be issued for the difference in price and tax for exchanges of lesser value without a receipt. 

Store credit will be issued for returns without a receipt, or for returns that are not made within 60 days of shipment to the customer. 

Rewards points earned for product being returned will be deducted from your account. Rewards points used to make a purchase are not refundable. 

In the case of shipping damages, please contact the carrier. 

To return a product to the Hairology Beauty Studio fulfillment center 

To return an Hairologypurchase to an Hairology Beauty Studio store, bring your purchase along with the packing slip and original email confirmation to your local store. 

To reprint the email, locate the order number on the bottom of the pack slip. Select the Login/Create Account link on https://628d44-4c.myshopify.com/ Enter your username and password, and select Login. Select Order Status, then select your order number. Finally select Print Your Order. 

For your convenience, a return mailing label has been included with your order which needs to be applied to the outside of your shipping carton. 

Mail your return using a traceable ground shipping method (we recommend UPS or the U.S. Postal Service insured mail) to:

Hairology Beauty Studio does not accept CODs for returned merchandise. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

RETURN PRODUCTS TO Hairology Beauty Studio BY GROUND-ONLY SHIPPING METHODS - Certain items in your order may be considered Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). Hazardous Materials are as follows: aerosol items, some alcohol-based items, items that contain contents under pressure, and others (e.g., hairspray, nail polish and items containing flammable, volatile or corrosive chemicals). The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) requires ground-only shipment of Hazardous Materials due to air shipment restrictions and regulations. 

If you return products to the Hairology Beauty Studio Returns Center, you can check your order status online at any time to see if we've received and processed it. Click on Login/Create Account in the top menu bar and Login to your account, then choose Order Status from the menu on the left hand side. Select your order number. You may also Contact Us to check on the return status. Please have your order number available to allow us to better serve you. 

Hairology Beauty Studio will issue a refund within 30 business days of receiving and processing your return. The credit should appear on your statement within two billing periods, depending on your billing cycle. 

Return Hairologypurchase to an Hairology Beauty Studio Store 

To return an Hairology Beauty Studio purchase to an Hairology Beauty Studio store, bring your purchase along with the packing slip and original email confirmation to your local store.

Hairology Beauty Studio Store Purchase Refund Policy 

If for any reason your purchase does not give you complete satisfaction, the purchase may be returned. All returns must be accompanied by the receipt and all original components. 

Store Purchase Returns for Refund 

A full refund will be issued on a return, providing the return is within 60 days of the original purchase date. A full refund will be issued on a return that included a FREE product or FREE gift, providing the return is within 60 days of original purchase date, and the FREE product or FREE gift accompany the return. 

Store Purchase Returns for Store Credit 

A store credit will be issued on a return, providing the return is accompanied by the Gift Receipt. 

A store credit will be issued on a return after 60 days of original purchase date. 

Returned Check Policy 

A service fee will be added for any check returned unpaid by the bank. In accordance with State law, NSF Checks may be submitted to your bank electronically. A 10-day waiting period is required for refunds on personal checks. 

Coupon Reward Certificates 

Coupon / Reward Certificates need to be presented at time of purchase and within the specified dates. Expired Coupon / Reward Certificates will not be accepted. Prior purchases do not qualify for use with coupon / reward certificates. 

Hairology Beauty Studio Rewards Members 

Upon return of any product on which you earned Hairology Beauty Studio Rewards points, your Hairology Beauty Studio Rewards account will be reduced by the number of points previously earned on that purchase. 

If the return will cause your Hairology Beauty Studio Rewards account to have a negative point balance, a store credit will be issued on the return regardless of your original form of payment.

UPDATE APRIL 2023

As of April 1 2023, we are asking that all new clients that are booking any services at a value of $100 or more leave a $50 deposit that will be used towards your service on the day of your appointment. This is to ensure we are able to accommodate the increase in new clients who are wanting to book an appointment.

The deposit can be left in person or sent by etransfer to info@hairology.ca please include in the note the time and date you are booking for.

CANCELLATION / RE-BOOKING POLICY

As of November 1st 2020 we have implemented our new cancellation / re-booking policy.

We require 48 hours notice for any appointment cancellations or re-bookings.

Fail to give 48 hours notice will result in a 50% fee from that service added on to your next appointment.
