Hairology Beauty Studio takes pride in the quality of hair extensions that are applied into our clients hair.   C.D Hair Extensions was branded by the owner, Christal Dimakos.  The hair is 100% Remy Cuticle Human Hair which can be customized with colour to match your hair. Your colour will be matched at your consultation and is to only be coloured by the Hair Stylists at Hairology Beauty Studio using Goldwell Colour or our warranty will be void.

 It is very important that before investing in hair extensions you understand the aftercare and maintenance required to ensure your hair stays healthy and you protect your investment to get the longest wear out of your extensions. Please read in detail and make note of any questions you may have so we can discuss them during your consultation.

• Contract of Terms
  Please read the information below carefully before we begin the application of your extensions:
• I acknowledge that to have my hair extensions installed, it is necessary that my hair is freshly washed with a clarifying shampoo, blowdried and flat ironed the day of my appointment. If my hair is oily/has residue or product in it when I arrive to my install appointment, I understand that Hairology Beauty Studio may need to cancel/re-schedule my appointment AND additional charges WILL be applicable/my deposit will be VOID.
• All bookings will require a 50% non-refundable security deposit. The security deposit must be made at time of booking. If the required deposit is not submitted at time of booking, appointments will not be held and the hair extensions will not be ordered. The security deposit is non re-fundable under any circumstances.
• I acknowledge that any cancellations or changes to my appointment must be made 48 Hours prior to the scheduled appointment, otherwise my deposit will be forfeited. A new deposit will be required in order to re-schedule an appointment.
• I acknowledge my extensions are being matched to my existing colour and cut at this consultation and that if I change my colour, length or texture between this consultation and my application appointment, Hairology Beauty Studio will NOT be held responsible if the extensions ordered no longer work/match. Therefore a new deposit will be required in order to obtain new matching extensions and my current deposit will be VOID.
• I understand that I must NOT wash my hair/wet the Extensions (this includes excessive sweating) for 48 hours AFTER installation because it can damage the extensions and the integrity of the adhesive.
• I acknowledge that I am to pay the remaining balance of my extensions at my install appointment. 
• I acknowledge that I have 2 weeks to make any changes or adjustments to my extensions at Hairology Beauty Studio.

• Extension Aftercare
  Please carefully read and follow these instructions to ensure you get the best results from your extension experience:
  

Immediate Aftercare
• Do not wash your hair or sweat excessively within the 48 hours after installation.

• You may experience a tension headache during the first few days after application; this is normal and will go away with time and wear.

Sleeping With Extensions
• To ensure no matting or tangles it is imperative to ensure that your hair is completely dry (especially at the root)  before going to bed.

• Hair should always be secured at the nape of your neck when sleeping. Pull back your hair into a loose ponytail or braid to prevent the hair from getting tangled. Do not sleep with a high ponytail or high bun as this can cause tension at the root and discomfort.
  
  
  Brushing Your Extensions
  • Always brush your hair and the extensions with an extension friendly brush (we recommend the Dannyco paddle brush or Tangle Teezer) row by row,  brushing from the ends to roots while holding your hair in a ponytail and gently working your way up.          
• It is very important to brush above the extension attachment at the roots, to avoid any matting or tangles. This is completely safe to do if using an extension friendly brush.
• Brush dry hair out completely before you shower and before you sleep to remove any tangles. You should be brushing your hair minimum 3 times a day.
  

• Cleaning Your Extensions
  • To ensure your extensions will remain in good quality it is imperative to use sulphate free shampoos and conditioners. We cannot guarantee the quality of the extensions if you do not use salon grade products purchased from Hairology Beauty Studio.
• Keep the hair CLEAN. We suggest that you wash the hair at least once or twice a week. When dirt accumulates, including sweat, hair is prone to tangles. It is safe to wash your hair as often as needed, as long as you are using the proper products.
• It is very important to wash the hair in one direction, upright position. Never wash your extensions upside down.
• Do not get conditioner or treatments on the bonds; it can cause the bonds to slide down and break down the bonds. When conditioning or using hair treatments keep them in your ends only.
• We recommend doing 2 shampoos when washing the extensions to ensure all residue, dirt and oils, is removed from the scalp and point of attachment. Built up residue can result in irritation and discomfort.
